Today, I was tending my roses Winters grip loosening I imagined them cry out, “Prune us, dear gardener and we will grow!” It occurred that my heart, too would benefit from a little clip maybe two I would, for new buds of life for hope of renew And then without even trying… I thought of you. |

I love everything about this. How often we let our hearts lie dormant like roses in winter and how hard sometimes it is to let that spring of hope enter in. I'm longing so for spring this year, for that rebirth of the land and just that spark of newness it brings into my life Ruth |
