Entwined in self
it stirs in labored breath
feign of near death,
self suffocation
of conforming, confirming
to the pressing oppression
and threat
(of damned conglomerates, infantries, and evil doers)
to rape her treasured green

the goddess bleeds, exceeds
the hard and harsh
in mud bound feet,
from all who dare to bond, to tie
to squelch her summer dream

in simple theme

then sheds this threat of siege

beneath the firmament
she once again
lays down her leaves

the sojourn's circle
near complete, renewed
by ancient threads of faith

delivered,

the virgin coat of Spring.
