My body has pain but it is not physical,
Went through a breakdown yesterday, now I am mental,
Impossible to use meaning in coherent terms,
Because infection is spreading, i caught the depression germ.

There is no cure for this sickness,
I am alone, I am the only witness,
Of my Anger and Sadness increasing in power,
Sooner then later I will reach my final hour,

And end up being carried shoulder high,
With my parents underneath me on either side,
Placing me into a portal that I can't escape,
And they place the soil on top of me, sealing my fate.

You know, adults sometimes blow off teenage depression assuming that it is a passing phase.  Often it is not.  I implore you to talk to someone.  Show someone you trust this poem (hopefully an adult).  I am not sure that people realize that loss from death is not easy to get over.  When a person thinks that they could have done something -- that is the cruelest thing we can do to anyone, especially people that we love.

Part of me wants to blow your words as poetry - freedom of expression.  The other part of me takes this very seriously.  Talk to someone.  Take your poem to someone.  Get advice.  Work through the problems in your mind.

You are not alone.  You feel like you are maybe - but you are not.  Have the strength to work through these feelings.  Believe me, you will become a stronger adult because you did.

Listen to Alison, she is giving you very good advise. Don't do something that will hurt others and you can't take back.

It's both wonderful and worrying to see someone write something that echoes what I have sometimes felt. Listen to the advice you get.
