In His Time A bird with a broken wing, falls, seeks solitude, a place to hide, a place to cry. God picks it up, kisses it's pain, then teaches it to fly again. We, like the bird, are His, and His tendency is to brush us off when we fall, by sending another heart, one that enters ours, restores the glow our soul has lost, walks with us, accepts our pain, returns it with love. Alison, thank you...from you that means a lot. Robert - unfortunately, no, that's not the way it always happens. But if we don't at least, Believe, reality will eat us up far faster than time can heal. |
