Beautiful days laced with promises of similar tomorrows No taste of sourness mixed together with sorrows Days of confined and predictable youth these were The intricate innocence is nothing but a childhood fare When the borders tumble, what is there to do? Stand of naked upon this worn muddy spot? Wait for a transformation into something revolutionary and new? Is what I want a possibility? It is certainly not Horrors of the passage rite are more common than the pleasures For we give up so much certainty and past treasures What should become of each of us heading through that door? Either we stand where we are forever or gain the courage to soar |

deep thinking. A great poem. Same as EagleScorpion, I felt it was unfinished. Love the read. |
