With Words Shedding Light

My writing had been the key
To that once locked door
I opened it a few years ago
Emotions started to pour

Helping me over each hurdle
As I build the stronger me
It was writing which I chose
To embrace my creativity

I needing to build confidence
Writing created a choice
Baring heart mind and soul
Words became my voice

Whatever I feel on the inside
Its through poetry I write
I emerge from out my shell
With words shedding light

It is a wonderful thing Hope when you can sit down and relieve your inner tention on

paper, you feel so much better for it.
