Used to often as just a common word, but its every misuse has been heard. And a rule it has been for a very long time, that to use it recklessly is a crime. It has held true always as the ages past, those that foolishly say it a guilty shadow cast. So unwise indeed to treat with such distain, because it is no simple matter to take it in vain. For like crying wolf once too many, when you need the help you'll not get any. And you alone will be to blame, for it has been told, in vain not to take his name. On the list of ten it is the third, so to claim ignorance is absurd. Therefore speak it wisely and with praise, for it is He alone that prolongs your days. And really blessed are the lips his name have found, that speak as if it is the sweetest sound. |

My thinking is that imagine if you were watching and paying attention to someone then out of the blue someone called your name and you looked away for a second. Thats all it takes people have been lost in less time. |

His name certainly is the sweetest of all. And I am so thankful that I can speak it just as completely in grace as in fear. Always good to think about. Thank you for bringing my thoughts back to His name this morning. Shalom. ~alyssa Hupomeno. |

Much truth within this poem, so often His name is uttered in anger or circumstances that do not need that mentioned. |

truly you don't know how much I cringe when I here his name said without purpose. That person just commited a sin and have no idea what they have just done. |
