Today in Chicago Life goes snowy, It’s twenty degrees under zero and the wind blows biting, skins are torn apart It’s twenty degrees under zero and the light is freezing, all is unbearable except the inspiration of the poets, Scornful flakes quarrel above the blazing lake Michigan. Your write is so convincing, I am shivering. I have experienced - 20° Celsius, the only pleasure was the frozen lake of Zurich. To walk and skate on the lake was simply fantastic. Brrrrrrrrr ... good poem! Love, Margherita |

a most interesting 'write!' I'm especially fond of that freezing light and those quarreling flakes! 'Life goes snowy'...in far too many ways amid the "Runaway American Dream" much applause for this 'penning'!! |

Yann...a pleasure to read you... I don't think I could survive in those temperatures though! I don't do winter very well, that's why I'm waiting to August/Sept to visit Paris again! love RDB Be kind at heart....for everyone you meet has their own battle to fight......... |

Hi Roniece, thanks for your comment, i think Chicago is cold in winter but i don't live there so i'm not sure, i only read news... About blizzard i read a wonderful book of poetry the blizzard voices by Ted Kooser... However when it's cold i think of other countries in the south and australia is one of them . It must be wonderfu for the warmth there.... About France it's a very good choice to come here in august or september but sometimes "nous avons des étés pourris" regards yann |
