Rain rain ================== Mother told her to save them for rainy days. The rain drops on the future this noon. This noon of annihilated sun. And, this day she breaks her piggy bank. Opened, a note from a distant land With roaming nomads of memory Flies out. It flies to and fro, settles On the dust over a black book case. A currency it is, to be cashed In a different plain, in a world With strange lights and figures of the past. A sepia lane and lame cat crossing… A sparrow touched by death A motherly hand placed on her head. Mother told her to save them for rainy days clever talks delay friendship! |

Ku, I like this line 'This noon of annihilated sun' another good post. Only 1 criticism, that pink text hurts my old eyes.... |

The more I read it the more it speaks to me. And it moves me. A wonderful write, dear Ku. You and the words make a great couple. Love, Margherita |

Haiku! ~ Hi, Ku! I like the tone and feel of this write. "Mother told her to save them for rainy days" ~ and we should always listen to what our mother says. Linda |

Really enjoyed this, another one of your wonderful pieces that stays with me when I've finished reading it, thanks. I'm now feeling a little bit sad. Not a big fan of the pink text either though... |
