"Second Chances" The sun has risen in the East And with it raised my spirits Again I've given life a chance With no more need to fear it A storm of doubt was plaguing me With fear and thoughts of darkness My life without you felt too long When trapped within such starkness My mourning now is at an end My future lies before me I turn to face the rising sun And let its light restore me I'll leave my grief behind me now 'Tis not my fate to bear it I'll live my life with no regrets And live for you, I swear it AMdG |
