Way back in 1999
We thought that it would be a fine
Idea for a chance to give
Insights to places where we live.

I mean, we're scattered everywhere!
Just pick a country and we're there.
Diversity a major key
That shows up in our poetry.

And so we all sat down to share
With all the other poets there
A glimpse of places where we dwell
And I must say, it turned out well.

The years passed by, the forums grew
And it became 2002.
So many poets joined our site
To Ron's and everyone's delight.

And so we did it once again
Suggesting poets take their pen
And share with us their daily view
Guesss what? It was fantastic, too!

Now here we are...2008
So many more have passed our gate.
It's Open #42, i'm told.
Hey, Ron and Nan! We're getting old!

So many more have come since then
And we should do it once again!
Give all of us a chance to see
The world behind your poetry.

When you look out your window view
What do you see in front of you?
What is the world where you reside?
Invite us for a peek inside.

If you want to try, drop me a line.
City, state or country's fine.
In Toerag's case, the planet will
Be quite enough to fit the bill!

I'll put them all together then
And we can do it once again.
