WHO SAYS, "YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU"?

Wonder what they'll see
A hundred years from now
Wonder, if they'll read about me
And say, "I'm related! Wow!"?

Wonder if they'll know the person
That,I've grown to be
Or, if they, will really look
If so, what will they see?

Or will there be children
100 years from now?
The way that we are going
I really don't see, how!

We rape the Earth and pillage
Just like everyone we know
Look back and say. "Not me!
That's not the me, I know."

There'll be nothing to gain
When there is nothing here
We'll take it all with us
That's what, I really fear.

Oh! We'll have got our share
But, left nothing behind
For anyone to, "Go for it!"
They'll be deaf, dumb, and blind.

But now, we're able to hear
And, we're able to think
And, we won't be blind
When WE go o'er the brink.

Wonder what they'll see
A hundred years from now
Wonder, if they'll read about me
And say, "I'm related! Wow!!?
