When it sings it is voiceless
yet all voices wrapped therein
an echo formed a thought, I thought
and it came from deep within

I had formed the words within my head
but meaning had come and gone
the lyrics now are null and void
without the help of song

I know the difference now;
between myself and "I"
the song is sung in silence
the lyrics are inside

I in every voice
and every voice in me
for I am the song of life
and silence lets it be
