Not near enough time to say what I wanna say Not near enough dark to save me from another day I dont think of you often just every now and then I listen to my memory, and I remember when You could make me laugh and cry you were master of my emotion I was foolish and in love full of blind, and pathetic devotion I let you take me apart and put me back together I trusted it wouldnt storm, never prepared for rainy weather Then, one day the clouds rolled in funnels from the sky... I looked but couldnt find you hell, I couldnt even cry I stood in the storm for hours let it beat me black and blue Hating you for being gone, and myself more for waiting on you |

Tima...Very gut wrenching write. I felt like I was standing in the storm with you and that is what I like about poetry, feeling it from within to the point that it feels real. Enjoyed...Paul ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ |

Tima! What a pleasant surprise to see you posting again! It would appear that you have weathered a very unpleasant emotional storm, but thankfully, it also appears as though yesterday's bad weather, is behind you. Here's to the dawning of a new day! Very emotive write. I could feel every word. Giving you a warm, welcome-back pip hug, Linda |
