when the bending water came
she was a helpless flower
with that shudder eye fragile

no proper was left in her jaunty
but her belly skin was full
big plate momma food kind

and from her heart side easy too
where no spoon could heal before
and no, she didn't tell the padre

lest he take her sins away
and make her drink lonely tea
so her proper skin would fit again

without the happy buttons love
