so I asked (chapter one) the darkened depth of glassy eyes torn bedraggled threads a single cyclopentadiene breast that openly jounced between dreadlocks matted tangle were just a few of the outward signs of inward demonic coercion her demented sagacious tone vociferated as she displayed the fracas oblation along with rusty blades anticipation both held high that all could adrenalin see surged through lusty veins of starved dementia the whole of village in awe gaped wonder as the beast asunder burst then absorbing asymmetric quiet washed down quickly around trounced cerebral strait and whirled about the massive throng the rufous urgent careful captured porringer wary caught flaunting focus proud with pride as taunting eye pierced naive heart which but harder thundered - ginger elevated vulgarian bowl then quick glutton guzzler devoured its crimson flow when ichor drooled and dropped from dour chin of dribble then finger smeared 'cross bosoms sweat - as pastels glowing set of vermillion streaked low on rises wet slightly above the basement horror where drums beat and the natives oscillate to rhythms of cadence never before heard and seldom told by any moral soul |

So I Asked (wasn't really finished yet) so I asked the missionary what did you do..? he told me when he came to that point he wished he could kill the witch and end it all right then and there but somehow knew that wouldn't be the Christ like thing to do so reaching deeper he thought if I could only confront the demon remembering the words of the lord "I have given you authority... to overcome all power of the enemy... nothing will harm you" but he hesitated" what if nothing happens..? they'll all ridicule me he stepped back into the shadow and watched from a distance he later confessed there I was defeated in the middle of a jungle and when faced with the enemy I cowered to an invisible force that I knew scant about no one ever told me that there really was a such thing as demons I thought that stuff was all myth nor did anyone ever tell or teach me how to deal with a real demon how inadequate our missionaries are when it comes to dealing with spiritual beings and all because their heritage is so conditioned by every day activities attitudes and such known as secularism then add a little empiricism in short rewrite the scriptures everyone is aware that spiritual and science don't fit in the same box science is based on fact secularism and empiricism have no religious or spiritual foundation in fact most of these missionaries frequently discount the existence of spiritual beings ascribing them to a realm known as fiction don't you find it a bit strange that the people that have come in contact with demonic forces don't need any proof or facts there's too much literature about the spiritual realm so much so that no one could know of its truth our spiritually besieged are drugged institutionalized and kept under lock and key and needless to say out of sight regrettably many theologians today discount the validity of the demonic by assigning demons to myth thus demythologizing this aspect of biblical scripture others of course acknowledge that they once existed but for some reason they have long ceased to exist missionaries conditioned by secular culture are so ill-prepared to impact animistic cultures where malevolent beings controlled by dark spirits are prevalent unfortunately where are there such training grounds for those would be missionaries I told him it sounds to me like our own countries problem with terrorism [This message has been edited by lucky (01-31-2008 09:29 PM).] |
