IF NOT FIRE....... What is not to love, when everything his senses can absorb of her fuels the feelings that apparently are the embers of a fire kindled by the necessity to sacrifice what she wants, to have what she needs to be where she must be when She/He finds Him/Her ready to know a desire prepared from maybe when she was conceived, but he knew not what it was 'til today, as the ashes of her dreams are replaced by a glow that will never end (Hope, Hope). The tears, of coarse, are for the ones that could not have known what they came near and that had little understanding to do right, because it was not given them, and his to whom it is. Then...... A house full of Harmony is truly a home When she is there with the one who did roam He too was watching and hoping inside That she would be waiting with arms open wide A garden, a mansion, a City can call To bring her lost hope and things and her all To lay and to sleep in her own way So her World will know peace in a glorious way She chose and invited as each one would And watched and waited as she should In hope He might be in that special place She has come to adorn with linen and lace The rain will come down as promised before and touch not all those who have sought the door It waters and nurtures a Flower, a Tree She’s Love and He’s love and both are still free Jerusalem comes to a nation Prepared To a people who always had those who cared Enough to make things better and best A light shining from the East to the West An evening, a morning has all the power As gentle and as mighty as one single flower She could, He would restore what is lost That each Pair is gathered, all without cost They now have fulfilled an Age old desire A new day, A new way not dependent on fire That all who would come be accepted inside Where only the chosen have nothing to hide He hesitates once and two times and three Just to make sure that it’s there he should be And finally they are both happy as one In the only endeavor that can never be done |
