Touching a midnite dream

Surround yourself
with celestial scents,
sweet coastal sage,
essence of ancient yew;
touch the innermost spirit,
feel the deepest heartbeat of you.

Release your mind to the cool of an ocean-breeze.
Feel the moist sand as you kneel in thought,
listen to the whispering winds
sing through the trees.
Absorb Earth's timeless warmth
in serene sunset-gold.

These are sensations
you can never forget.

Feel the touch of magic
in midnight dreams,
and spend your time,
in never-regret.

Once again, I can only reiterate,  Ms. Stafford writes 'social impact/conscience'
poems with Jeffersonian purity and Nature/Gaia works (such as this grand-fine
example) with Thoreauvian purity!

omph! what was that?
I believe this hit me in my solar plexus.

I also believe in that feeling you described there.

Lovely!

(and a big thanks for all your kind comments on my stuff. I've yet to repay you...)

Indeed this is a very beautiful write. I think you just inspired me to go outside to enjoy one of these moments, even if the moon is not yet out.

Loved your write as allways
In the suburb where I reside
sleep and dreams are elusive
the VOODEN-VOODEN of my
neighbors monster truck
interupts my peace
in the night
Thanks again

Kacy, I almost missed this beauty! ~ and it's a !!!

You spoke directly to my spirit, mystical poetess. I will shout it to the rooftops that you are one of my absolute favourite poets!

Believe me, Celestial One, I felt "the touch of magic" in these 'midnite' dreams.

Kacy.. this is so lovely..the sentiments..the beauty is perfect..this should be put on tv around the world to let people pause and think of beauty? Perhaps then it would stop them thinking of war..that is how powerful this is!..thank you

and also it is comforting to read all of my beautiful cards that I got...comforting to know I am not alone.
