I sought the quietness of God Drawing up from within me these restless pools By a river bank, emotions sank Into the ripples of whispering time Free from my heart this ache departs On the breezes of an ebbing August haze It has one name, that was carved into my being In the throws of rigors firm Yet life flows all the same But here, among bank swallow arms I fold into the feelings and the words And drop by drop My dreams fall into the hollow of your hand Copyright Kkh 8/30/07 |

Soft, tender, humble...mysterious...awakening words that flow the river's edge. |

I absolutely LOVE: “…emotions sank Into the ripples of whispering time(!)”; AND, the grand-fine ending!: “…life flows all the same But here, among bank swallow arms I fold into the feelings and the words And drop by drop My dreams fall into the hollow of your hand” Serious, sustained applause! |
