The movement of your hands makes us disperse, indeed, though many say you're keeping time. A matter of semantics, nothing worse, minutae of a nickle or a dime not life or death for that would be a crime and yet you hold that hand of power too, how curious our notions are of you. Your rhythms serve to circumvent the days no matter what we think may lie ahead. While some may use you in productive ways, some welcome dreams and fancies in their stead or so it is that I have heard it said there's far more to this life than we percieve one notion for some time now, I believe. And so we go around once and again perhaps just as we have each time before, our hands entwined within this world of men to coexist but for our earthly score when in our hearts we seek that something more with dreams and notions spilling out of when, that moment of some time we've kept from then. Thus having thought this through at least this far I see you time for what you truly are. [This message has been edited by Dr.Moose1 (11-15-2007 08:47 AM).] |

Our perception of time is one of the most surprising things we experience. Past, present, future, yet we live always in the Now, only thoughts travel back and forth. The theme is incredibly fascinating and I must say I loved your ponderings. There are still so many mysteries to solve ... I don't think dreams are a waste of time, they often are the first step to grand realizations. This is a thought provoking, very well written piece. Thank you. Love, Margherita |

This is a fantastic piece of writing, Doc! I wish I had more time to be here reading all the wonderful poetry. I miss having that time to spend here. Sometimes it would be good for those hands of time to stand still for a little bit! |
