now our love is dead and my heart feeds the ground

so goodbye you said i guess i'll see you around

and you made me blue when you said goodbye

and pictures of you can still make me cry

but people like you who put love on a shelf

must live in the shoes of sombody else

you've gone digging for gold but you'll see someday

when you long to hold what you've tossed a way
