Saffron chases midnight blue out of the sky. Sliver of moon dangles from the solitary star brave enough to face the day. Coolness of the night sky slowly lost in the warmth as daylight spreads. |

Hi, there! I'm giving you a warm, welcoming hug for this gorgeous break of day poem. "Saffron chases midnight blue out of the sky." ~ I especially appreciated the above lines. Actually, the entire poem was a poetic gem! May you love these seas of blue as much as I do! Welcome aboard the pip ship! Love & Light, Earth Angel |

Midnitesun, passing shadows, vandana and jw: Thanks for commenting. I have to be at work pretty early and I saw this star and the thinnest crescent moon two mornings in a row about two years ago. I haven't seen the exact same configuration of moon and star and sun since then. I keep looking. |
