 You are so beautiful You are so beautiful, untouched by decadence you walk on splitters of broken glass you move through the chaos of downtown dusty roads and crusted house walls shouting at you in agony. You are so beautiful, while your feet touch the debris of discouraging social failures, while your eyes move beyond the horror visions induced by carelessness and ignorance, to call upon the purity always available within your soul. You are so beautiful, strong and loving, while you open your heart in midst of bitter tears falling from hopeless eyes blurring the world's brightest skies. You are the sun piercing boldly through the miasma of injustice. You are so beautiful, as if born anew every instant. Unaffected by the passing of time. You are a rare flower blooming in brilliant colors in midst of desolation. I look up to you and I am healed. And now your beauty spreads over the wounds of this Earth conquering the shadows and bringing back the light into sightless eyes. People will raise their heads and they will rediscover the wonderment of creation. You are so beautiful! ... and I walk with you. |
