Come, Gray Come, between this black and white of sunlight, night, and somewhere between dust covered dreams, the sense of touch was near to me, to be a search to reach, a pull from throat, a cry, beseech, listen to this blood red heart, then stitch and wind a woman’s dreams shove the gray aside, she did the touch was real, the cry was made when then to try, and ply as you might ~ but don’t be surprised at bursting seams because somewhere in the gray when teeth clipped lip met lip and ‘stash and there was a breath, caught up in gasp, when shifts and change and kaleidoscope eyes felt pull of earth, a moon’s sunrise, and the cornucopia withers, screams, and dies, so come again, come again gray, like some faraway siren’s song take me away, please, far away, and wake again this withering long. |
