How she teeters on the brink,
Indecision overwhelms all her thoughts
So she can no longer think.
Which shade of blue for her dress?
And how shall she rearrange her long hair,
Which is really quite a mess,
She ponders while working on knots with care.
A plunging neckline or not
And is the hemline showing too much thigh
Jewelry’s touch can’t be forgot
The mirror shows a beauty to the eye.

She leaves for work when she is done,
Hair tightly wound in a bun,
Her black skirt almost ankle long,
Quietly she hums a love song,
Who might guess what’s hidden within,
The soft spoken librarian.

Proff, you bring her to life right in front of our eyes.  Very nicely done.

I felt like I was a voyeur
and I loved feeling as if I had a sense of who she is.

Loved it, Professor! You captured the dual essences of the proverbial librarian! ~ and you did it ever so poetically!
