I saw them out walking all hands and arms astray a motley crew indeed endowed with hope and determination and very little coordination they passed me by unthinking perhaps of life and cruel fate as I was thinking of how lucky I was to be me and not them to live and love and fulfill my obligations endless sometimes never giving up or in or over to humdrum mediocrity fighting the good fight striving for success and reward and not feeling as happy as they looked not back but forward carefree |

I come to read the best of your tenderings, and discount with verve any selfish or self serving whim. Your poem brought the thoughts a geese in a gaggle, much like the youth I observe on the busy street corner. There is a sadness and a difinitive victory that is conveyed. |

My whimsical tenderings spring from tenderness, my dear. Geese is not correct although your insightful comment is right on the money! |
