Saluting with misty eyes

My Father, My Life
Why has it come to pass
That I am left here
On the floor
Alone
Begging for Mercy
And an end to the pain
You are my Protector
Yet you protect me not
Leaving me to my own devices
To release the agony
I find within myself
Again
Your promise of Peace
Of Understanding and Love
Forsaken for the life
I yet have led

My Son, My Exsistence
You do not see the truth
You were never left
On the floor
Alone
The Mercy you sought
Blocked the pain in your heart
For I am your Protector
And I protected you
From yourself, your own devices
I released the agony
I keep within myself
Again
To give you my Peace
My Understanding and Love
Granted to you by
The Blood my Son bled

I was asked to repost this, and though it isn't one of my faves, who am I to turn down a request?

What would you attempt to do...if you knew you could not fail?.

Well, I most certainly can understand why this repost was requested! ~ and I thank the requester ~ and YOU ~ for it.

I'm glad I stumbled upon pip tonight...it's been awhile and the read was needed.

Words and feelings we need to hear and to experience, they bring courage to cope with the challenges of life.

Very healing.

Love,
Margherita
