I'm sure I saw an elf as I was walking through the park...he was slipping from tree to tree Riding down a back country road, I swear I saw the glint of unicorn horn, there amongst the horses Sitting outside at dusk I know, oh I know I saw faeries playing with the fireflies Why can't there be faeries and elves and unicorns? Why can't there be magic and witches and weres? I want there to be magic in a ravens feather I want there to be a unicorn in my backyard Why can't there be faeries flirting with the fireflies Why can't there be? |

Why can't there be all these things. I don't know but I wish they all existed. I need a fairy god mother to use her magic to grant me three wishes. One would include cool brisk nights for you and me to see all the beautiful sites of every city in a Unicorn pulled buggy. Gotta reward you with something for this gem. It wouldn't be my company, but the unicorn pulled buggy ride. This was a nicely written poem. Very eloquent. Garfield |
