“Dance of the Flowers” A subtle breeze creeps round the eaves To wake the jasmine scent It stirs the leaves in gentle tease That’s much more than a hint In soft light hue before the dew The jasmine seeks a dance With Wedgwood blue, the lilac true In sweet moonlight romance None can compare with quite the flare Of fragrance in the night Arise and share aroma there From lusty blooms delight All intertwined like potent wine Their essence soothes to mend A cocktail fine and oh sublime A lovely perfect blend Throughout the night in pale moonlight Like leather and fine lace Till morning light all is right They dance in one embrace MoonShadow . |

MoonShadow, When I read this aloud it just resonated! Beautiful thoughts, words, rhythm, and of, course, blending of sounds. Very much enjoyed! miscellanea |
