THAT'S HOW I'LL REMEMBER YOU (A Song) A mountain top that hid the moon The peace that filled a silent room A candle burning in the night Two eyes that caught the candle light A feeling that I never knew That’s how I’ll remember you A shadow dancing on the wall A song that made a tear to fall An autumn wind, a chilling rain Soft rhythms on the window pane A whisper known to only two That’s how I’ll remember you Chorus: I’ll remember you, my love On dark and rainy nights like this And I’ll remember love that lingered In the passion of a kiss A dawning sun, a rising mist A dreamer waiting to be kissed Beneath a dark and purple sky In shadows of a sweet goodbye A dawn that rose in shades of blue That’s how I’ll remember you Chorus: I’ll remember you, my love On dark and rainy nights like this And I’ll remember love that lingered In the passion of a kiss Elizabeth Santos |
