Timeless Gifts Beyond the flaming sunset mid twilight’s fleeting shadows, here…where empty-Winter clouds traverse an endless sky, to nestle for just a moment mid these barren, time-faded hills… emptiness and transience are neglected treasures. |

Secondhanddreampoet, I too like the last two lines. There is a lot of truth there in those last two lines. Bobby |

I agree with Bobby, Poet. Those last two lines hold a truth about embracing impermanence, mutability. Buddha, Tao De Jing, Zhuangzi, the Mulamadhyamakakarika, even Hesse’s Narcissus and Goldmund, the pre-Socratics, especially Heraclitus, the Odyssey, Aeneid… Alan Watts… they all knew it. A Persian king asked his wise men to create a statement that would be true and appropriate in all times and situations. They presented him the words, "And this, too, shall pass away." Your poem is beautifully written. |

Have you been peeking at my view - this is beautiful. And, like the others, I found the last two lines to be incredible. A |
