A Thank You to ...

There are friends and there are friends.
When you need you hope they're there.
Even if you cannot ask,
you pray they will appear.

He's there just when I need someone
in the background, unassumed
to bolster and (feel) read my words
unvoiced with sad consumed.

And so it helps remembering
a time when meeting came.
When unexpected friendship rose
to forever closeness claim.

He'll show up soon with words expressed
catering his to mine.
I took a chance to follow through
this friendship to combine.

Margherita, I've met many wonderful poets in real from PIP and another site. This one has given me a lift I needed the other day and will shortly post a duet.
