To Rae, Klover To Rae, My sister whom I truly love How I remember when we first met, My eyes wide with my young age, Who held my hand and led me on to wisdom, But you, who shorter and smaller then I Had so much heart and soul, You helped me when I felt weak, Led me onto courage and hope! When all I could do for you, Was shelter you from the rain With my umbrella. When I became lost in purpose Stumbling in blind confusion You called me by who I was, A gentlemen, polite to the highest degree. So to you my sister, I bid thanks Though you are so far away, May your journey be wonderful! As I set out on mine. |
