Sureties For one stolen moment frozen in an eagle’s call, soft-salmon clouds (surfing a deep-azure Aeolian sea) hang in sunset-surprise on the razor-cusp of silver-grey mountains, ‘passing’ as well. One recalls but three sublime ‘sureties’: wind, time, and change… wind…time…and change! ~ |

You have an unending well-spring of descriptive phrases, never before seen in a volume of poetry, and I am always pleasantly startled by what you come up with. Enjoyed reading this Liz |

Your beautiful poem reminds me Buddha tells us “Neither fire nor wind, birth nor death can erase our good deeds”; Thoreau tells us “The finest workers in stone are not copper or steel tools, but the gentle touches of air and water working at their leisure with a liberal allowance of time”; and Heraclitus tells us “Nothing endures but change”. Especially enjoyed: "For one stolen moment frozen in an eagle’s call," ...and all your fine images. |

Your words are as fresh and crisp as a sunrise, tempered with the pearlescent opal of a morning mist. Lovely poem. |
