Figurine

Cannonized, the past shimmers
All points of touch and impact
Spending energy, like cash on the wheel
Intonation might disguise the way I feel
Wanting to express, sublime and limitless
Anew, hope glistens on my skin

That crystalize my eyes
A song perpetuates the skies
Upending me, to just let free
The soft place in my soul
A candle lit in effigy

And I don’t understand
The way I want your hand to speak
Tattle taling rivulets gone gold
Letting loose the marrow
Where my tears are told

The lighter side of truth
Made state of living proof
That love needs no reason
But to itself, the memories
Of stars
