Winter Warmth

Your eyes burn into my heart -
hypnotizing,
erotic -
and I warm to their touch
blushing outwardly.

I long to feel
time-worn, rugged hands
caressing skin;
speaking in their own unique,
wordless language
as you light familiar fires
of passion.

I smile at this amazing sensation,
the unbridled lust dampened not
by the passage of years,
that finds my heart warming
on this cold January day.

I am nothing special...and my name will soon be forgotten,but I've loved another with all my heart and soul,and to me,this has always been enough.~N.S
