let’s see

but when it comes to …. judging me …. hmmm …..

when it comes to judging me …… her heart won’t forgive me

…. I just need her to give me another chance …..

but she won’t ….. my diamond would never …. no matter how clever i rhyme …

eve :

                     Howard, are you almost finished with your endeavor?

howard :

                     almost, sweetie

         [Howard takes another drink of lemon and lime]

                                    [then writes]

but when it comes to judging me …. her heart is harder than hardest diamond that’s ever been mined …… hmmm

                             [from the other room]

howard :

                      oh, nothing sweetheart

but if she ever lets me exist,  even in the furthest reaches of the happy regions of her mind

                                [Howard sits back]

                                     pretty good

                            [Eve sets a Coke down]

                      how's it going ?

howard :

                      just trying to get this last line to interwine with the others

eve :

                      here, let me see

                      how about this?

                         [Eve leans forward and writes]

                      how's that?

                                  [Howard reads]

                      that's perfect Eve!!!!!!

eve :

                      that's easy to believe, isn't it?

howard :

                      of course baby

                              [they leave the room]

                                 [5 minutes later]

                         [2 mice scurry onto the table]

mouse#1 :

                     well, what does it say?

mouse#2

                     i'm looking, i'm looking

                     ah yes ...

                                 [they both look]

it’ll be easy to insist why looking past her “Milky Way” is the best source for reasons to exist i’ve been able to find

                                         So far

                                          right
