What can be said about happiness?

He said it doesn't apply to him
an inarguable belief of mere expense-
an acceptable amputated limb
a tolerable slump to decadence.

What can be said about the proverbial cake?

I said happiness is not sliced and rationed
it doesn't exhaust because you had some before-
"can't have your cake and eat it too" fashioned
by some guy who didn't know how to bake more.
