Love came to me,
without a moments notice,
stole my heart,

Old fashioned love,
like the ones written,
from times past.

Where I feel my soul,
was born from,
ages ago,

Days passed quickly,
each morning with excitement,
sharing every detail.

We realized we were soulmates,
crossing paths on charted course,
never have I loved so deeply,

never will I love again,
for my heart belongs to you,
it has always belonged to you.

Even before I knew,
someone had a plan,
we are the pawns,

Falling into place,
pieces of the puzzle,
fitting so perfectly.

Oft' I had dreamed,
ever since I was ,
a little girl,

Of love romantic,
tender in speech,
words of happiness.

somehow I felt I knew,
or had known you before,
the connection, chemistry,

Same thoughts, ideas,
likes and dislikes,
and that day,

the one day,
the e-card arrived,
I cried tears of happiness.

Tears only of sadness,
have these eyes only knew,
but that day,

Everything changed,
my heart knew,
this was the test.

Love from long ago,

Through the ages,
kings and Queens,
our souls,

covered the entire,
span of time,
except the future,

Where I have been,

complete, happy and strong,
