Honey Bath The surface cannot quite divulge The depths that flow below indulge And so, though chance it seems has past This reconcile of love at last A date on get to know won’t dwell All that my heart and soul foretell So realized, that fear leaves shy The common veils I own belie For seeping out through lace and lock For you, pushed through an artists block In visions wrap ten fingers round The gentle depths in words profound Love lost has been my epitaph Released to sponge this honey bath A rivers power rushes through In passion that I feel for you That floods the banks deceiving bark Transformed beneath you as an ark With tenderness I cup the waves To bathe you in for all my days If time has spent itself without My heart has not, without a doubt So sweet the future by your side The whispers of release to ride I wear the scent of always near An unrelenting call comes clear For buoyed in the aftermath So deep the waters, honey bath Copyright Kkh 7/29/07 |
