Driftwood Beach Sunset While misty-magenta mountains rest, A lovely driftwood beach-silhouette frames a small ship skimming the far horizon in one last saffron sunburst, just before soft twilight sweeps across a grand teal sea, where gentle milky-blue waves foam ‘round fine-sculpted rocks. On smooth silver sand… a lone seabird and time walk together. |

The beauty of this scene is enhanced by the choreography with which you've constructed it. You draw the eye in a crescent from the mountains to the beach, outward to the ship and the horizon, then back to us on shore, ending with the ephemeral: "a lone seabird and time walk together." Beautifully done, and the patinas are exquisite. |
