the favorite place to ever be
was just down the road in nowhere
during the busy season
when everyone else was gone

but we didn't mind the silence
or the lack of future
because with no one else around
our pasts were always also missing

we met there one sun daze morning
while heading there separately
but intending fully on discovery
of some other just another

that wouldn't really care about
getting to know the details
of nothing or nobody in particular
but it was more complicated then

when our cars broke down
and everything was closed but time
and as we both had mentioned
there was no one else around

so we both just voted to stay here/there
