One Christmas Morning

One Christmas morning an Angel came to
me to tell me of a message from above.
As I rose from my bed the angel said, "The
most important thing on this Earth is love."
He told me that today was the day when
I would know the true meaning of love.
He told me of a child that was born in
the little town of Bethlehem, a child born
to offer the World salvation, hope and love.
He spoke of an old rugged cross that in due
time would be this childs destiny,
a cross on which He was crucified
when He was a young man of thirty three.
He told me that this Man was the Son of God
and he died for our sins to set us free.
"For God so loved the World that He gave his
only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in
Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
John 3:16.  I told the Angel he was the bearer
of a precious message of love, and in my heart
I believed that Jesus was the Savior and I
accepted this fine gift of Gods love.
