'Twas the night before Christmas when Ron had a fright,
For his precious blue pages disappeared overnight.
"Oh my goodness," he whispered, then he sat down and cried,
"How on earth can I fix it when my access' denied."

It was weird, it was crazy, every time that he tried
To enter the pages, all turned black as the night.
He said, "It is an error and I must find it swift,
'Cause some people are looking for a poetry gift."

So he checked his computer, every wire, every bit,
Even changed to his laptop, but it wouldn't transmit.
Then he pouted and shouted, even wrote some new stuff,
But no matter the effort, it wasn't enough.

For each time he hit enter to open PipTalk,
There was darkness all over! That's when Ron took a walk.
He walked hours and hours, while he ransacked his brain
And he couldn't help feeling he was Justin Sane.

He thought: Jokes from the Justins! Justin Jest from the 'Stute!
Though the clan was a nuisance, they would not be so brute.
And then all of a sudden he heard Santa's Ho-Ho,
Who looked down from his sleigh to his friend down below.

"Yoo Ron, you look troubled. Can I help in any way?
I've got plenty of presents. The latest games for you to play.
It takes only a second for my elf to find
That chess set you have in the corner of your mind."

"May I thank you very kindly, but there's nothing I need,
For without my blue pages I feel most incomplete.
I'm like Cher without ribs, or a rainbow without hue,
But enlighten me, why does your elf look like you?"

"Just like me? Not in green? And without a flannel cap?
How on earth could I miss that! I am sorry old chap."
"Oh dear," Santa said, "those new glasses of mine!
And I so told my wife my old specs were just fine."

"There's a young elf this year, full of practical jokes,
She's been nothing but trouble and a pain to you folks.
Now she's even turned master elf One red and white!
One more joke and I'll make her write poems tonight!"

"Yeah Santa, that's fine, but I'm in trouble I fear,
'Cause PipTalk is gone, there's no poetry this year.
Every time I hit enter, my screen turns all black,
All my fears came alive: it's a hackers attack!"

"An attack? It can't be! It is magic I smell!
Do not worry, dearest Wizard, I have undone this spell.
I am sorry for the problems we've caused you by this,
I will sent this elf to you to make up with a kiss."

So when Ron got back home and saw Passions online,
He danced and he sang and he drank some red wine,
Then he soon fell asleep, by the fire, in his chair,
And he thought he heard Santa's voice sound through the air:

"Now Nancy, Not A Poet, now Poet deVine,
On Kit, Balladeer, on Brad and Sunshine,
Tackle up Doctor Moose! You're my deer substitute!
Now dash away! Dash away! Straight to the 'Stute!"

Then he sighed and he grinned by the thought of the sleigh
Being pulled by the poets! That would cause some dismay!
And he fell back asleep with a smile on his face,
While he mumbled "Merry Christmas... have a merry Christmas race..."

This was real fun to read, dear Munda, you did a great job. It surely would frighten and sadden many of us too if we were to discover that Pip was blacked out!

Love,
Margherita

Munda,

You have just made the holidays sing!
With a clip and a snip and a poet's ring!
You've brought the 'stute back into view,
reminding all that we're stuck like glue!

Red and green streamers we will string
'round the treasures that Ron's sure to bring
it's so nice to see all of what he has done...
even giving a place to one special Son.

Munda, I've learned ever so much from you;
It's good to share Christmas in a Room with a View!

My Dearest Munda,
I have replied as soon as the meds would allow. Sometimes this is not the easiest thing ( as you well know ). Be that as it may, I do wish for you and all my former "stute" friends, the merriest of holidays.
