Between the Lines

Suffer I, the sorrow of living
as I touch with all that I am
the tears that flow without reason
but rhyme through me
to reduce the conflict and disruption
to a once perfect life in retrospect.

That first strike came at year 30,
piercing to the depths of me.

The second upon his leaving
with the bareness of words
attached to the closing of the door.

The third was drawn, on the pulling out
of the others, leaving me confused
feeling vengeful until...

Sensibility and order
and a bit of hope was restored
with the aid of those who know,
who have been there and survived.

this is one of the harder ones...and it does pain me to know you understand it so well. I wish I could change that for you.

But you have a lovely understanding, mo.

I know I don't over-estimate you.

another very 'real', effective and emotive 'write!'  (well 'connected'
to possible interpretations/implications of the Tarot):

I am especially fond of part of the beginning and of the ending in this penning!:

“…I touch with all that I am
the tears that flow without reason
but rhyme through me…”

“Sensibility and order
and a bit of hope was restored
with the aid of those who know,
who have been there and survived.”

applause!!

Serenity's challenge very well met, dear Maureen!

May you more than survive, may you be granted to LIVE and fully enjoy it.

You write so well always!

Love and hugs.
Margherita
