Remember: if you fall, I fall;
Whatever path you choose, I'll follow.
No... I will be right by your side;
We might be parts of something whole...
Who knows? Time... And as I swallow
My bitter tears of your sorrow,
Your grief is just becoming mine.

And all I want to say to you
Is "Please, forgive..."
But I can't speak, dear.
You know: I'll stay for always true
To every promise, every tear
Of genuine love. I won't deceive
Your faith in me -
It's turned my wounds to scars.
And into any stranger's eyes
I'd never look when I could
Hold you in my arms...
I'd never live a lie.

And all I want to say to you
Is "Please, forgive...",
My one true love,
My most missed memory,
The one I've lived my life for,
And it's your name
That's beating in my heart.
You're everything for me.
