You've asked me why I love you
I never fully understood why
but now that I have idle time thinking
Here are your well deserved reasons why

I love you because
you always smiled
when I kissed your nose
and because you refused when I tried to tickle your toes

I love you because
of your patience
and never giving up on me
and even because you are messier than me

I love you because
you always laughed at my jokes
and you would wrestle me
when I tried to stick my tongue up your nose

I love you because
you understand me
and because you would join me in extreme ballroom dancing

I love you because
you'd correct me
when I'd say creek (crick)
and because you'd humor my bad taste in movies

I don't love you because
I want you to save me

I love you because
you were ok with Mandy calling you Keefy
and because you are the answer to my prayers

But most importantly
I love you
Because I know you love me too

If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.
