god will never let us touch that much
beyond the bad hurt sure want to
something about the good of you

is too lovely to sin that much
and the good of me
is too bad to be blessed that way

so we just keep the windows up
and touch with our eyes
coveting the coveting

and letting our minds run
barefoot in the wickedness
we both wish we could worship

from outside this sigh side prison
