“Some things
that should never have been forgotten,
were lost.
History became legend,
legend became myth…”
(Lord of the Ring – Tolkien)

We walk in many places,
transported as by magic
into a dark and hidden past
by sites built by ancient ones –
Machu Picchu, Peru;
Baalbek, Lebanon;
The Pyramids of Giza, Egypt;
Stonehenge, England…

Many, many more mysteries
cry to be de-mystified;
and the voices of the ancient ones
sing in the oaks, call from the skies
and sigh in the winds
yet how few stop to listen.

The System has imposed a ban,
a great silence over the past.
it covers the mind of man
as a veil covers a statue.

“Thou shalt not imagine
aliens once stepped here
for such do not exist,
not here, not now, not ever.

“Thou shalt worship only
the invisible gods
we order you to believe in,
for all else is lies.”

Yet I wonder still:
from whom did those wonders –
many which today’s technology
would be hard pressed to duplicate –
come?

I love the way your mind works Windwalker,
It's so gratifying to hear the thoughts of a kindred spirit out there.

In my mind I often walk these ancient paths,
immersed in the unity of everything.
Thank you, kindred spirit, for such an energizing morning visit.
There are so many questions that we can never  answer by limiting ourselves to what mainstream texts put forth as truth.

I am incredibly fond of:

“the voices of the ancient ones
sing in the oaks, call from the skies
and sigh in the winds(!)”

(they most assuredly do!!)

The Egyptians put an incredible high polish
on igneous rock that cannot be entirely
matched today…and, one would be hard
pressed to slip even a credit card between
the stones of Machu Pichu… the ‘blue stones’
of ‘Stonehenge’ where hauled somehow an
incredible distance from Whales to the
Salisbury plain of S. England… ‘magic’
indeed!

AND:

“The System has imposed a ban,
a great silence over the past.
it covers the mind of man
as a veil covers a statue(!)”

If that were not the case…government,
academia, all of human kind would be freely
and actively studying the most ‘important’
(Unexplained) phenomenon in history:
“Agriglyphs” (crop circles)… the most
magnificent of which are definitively NOT
simply ‘human hoaxes’ as the governmental
‘powers that be’ and their media stooges
would have us believe!

I am especially glad Lebanon was included in
this wonderful “WW.” Machu Picchu write!

I was remembering and contemplating said
in “Ruins of Lebanon” (‘archived forum # 40):

/main/forumdisplay.cgi?action=displayarchive&number=103&topic=003696

I haven’t had the courage  to attempt an
‘impression’ of “Machu Picchu”  or
‘Stonehenge’ though…

MAJOR long-sustained applause for this penning!!

You say it so beautifully!

Just this evening I watched a transmission on tv about the mystery of "Atlantis".

Our past is extremely fascinating, as is our future and we shall see and hear things beyond our wildest imaginations.

We must be allowed the freedom of widening our horizons!

Love and thank you.
