I am from “I AM”

I am from crystal waters and majestic peaks
from chime of bells piercing the walls and my breast
from Grandmother’s Ave Maria and Angelus
from Mother’s tears over my Father’s death
from her love defeating any adversity.

I am from big brother’s lessons of freestyle and rock’n roll.
I am from Swiss clock tyrants ticking me into a rebel,
from strawberries and tomatoes plucked in my garden at noon,
from the scents of snowflakes, lilac and hyacinths,
and from an aged stepfather who didn’t want me to sing.

I am from nightly serenades with tigers of my kind
and from early morning duets with sentient blackbirds.
I am from many dreams and “we can’t afford it”,
from hours of contemplation of the clouds and the stars,
from symbiosis with nature’s breath and pulse.

I am from Mother’s language of the heart
learned along with Einstein’s theory of relativity,
I am from black holes leading to future space travels,
from peace and light warriors’ determination
and from a divine alliance with Archangel Michael.

I am from no beginning and no end, a child of eternity,
from my soul’s awareness of love’s supremacy.
To sum it up, I would say that I am quite simply from
the One Who identified Himself as  “I AM”!

My Dear Margherita, I am most assuredly certain that the I AM is pleased with all aspects of the I Am that you are ~ spiritual, creative, ethereal, practical, philosophical, esoteric, expansive, intellectual, philanthropic, ~ and most of all LOVING.

I love the skin you're in! God bless you, my friend!

There are so many lines in this one that I like, but especially the alliance with the Archangel Michael.  That fighting spirit shows through, that independence, but with warmth.

I am beginning to think
that Patricia brought in such
a challenge, that we could all
gift ourselves from one to another...

This is magical, Margherita...

and just what I needed!

a most fine write...with much grand imagery; however, I am particularly fond of:

"symbiosis with nature’s breath and pulse(!)"
[a 'joining' that I truly 'understand!']

MUCH applause!

This is beautiful all the way through, and the last two lines are perfect.

This line touches me in the depths:

"I am from Mother's language of the heart"

Ah, so am I.

LeeJ, TD, James, Arctic Wind and Rosemary, thank you so much for your very generous, loving comments. This challenge is really enticing, I think all of us could easily come up with a second round!

I'm not so much into the past, but sometimes it feels good to touch the roots and to walk again the path that brought us to where we are now.

Love,
